Check-In Procedure READ THE FOLLOWING FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO CHECK-IN Please read this so you know what to expect on the day of your arrival. Check-In is at or after 4PM. This allows enough time for our housekeepers to have the house ready for your arrival. Each property has a programmed touch key entry system. The entry door will be coded to open with the last 4 digits of your cell phone. You will NOT be given any keys, so please give the combination to everyone in your party. Please do not show up early without authorization otherwise the door key pad will not let you in. You will be charged additional fees if you are found inside the house before it is ready or after normal check out. And NO, you are NOT ALLOWED to use the POOL while the house is being cleaned for your arrival. Our Pools are serviced ONE TIME per week. If you need the pool cleaned during your stay there will be additional fees assessed. PLEASE DO NOT take our Cypress outdoor patio furniture out to the end of the pier. Things you need to bring with you You should bring your food / spices, any unusual cooking implements not considered ordinary, coffee, favorite beverage, beach towels, paper towels, flotation if you plan to swim in the Lagoon, shower soap, shampoo and charcoal for the grill if you plan to BBQ. Propane is to be refilled on an HONOR system. If you run out of propane, you are on YOUR HONOR to refill / exchange the bottle. If the bottle is empty and you want to gas grill, please feel free to fill or exchange the bottle. Ace Hardware on Highway 59 about a mile from the beach has the lowest propane price. There will be no credit given for propane refills. You should bring all paper products such as toilet paper. A limited supply of trash bags will be at the house along with a limited supply of cleaning items. You should plan to bring laundry detergent / dish washing detergent. Check out Procedure Check out is normally at or before 10AM on the date of your departure. Your key code will expire and you will not be granted reentry. Please have all dishes, pots & pans etc. cleaned and put back where they were when you arrived including everything in the dishwasher (you are NOT ALLOWED to leave dishes clean or dirty in the dishwasher). You will be charged additional cleaning fees if you do not follow these procedures. Please have all trash in bags and outside in the receptacle provided at the property. Please put all used towels in the bath tub or the laundry room below so they are not dripping on the floor. You do NOT need to strip any beds or start laundry. Additional house keeping charges may be assessed and charged to your credit card if the property is left extremely untidy at a rate of $45 per hour. If you feel the need to re-arrange the furniture during your stay and leave it that way, you will be charged a MINIMUM of $25 or more depending on how much work it takes in order to put the house back as it was before your arrival. Please make sure all outside patio furniture is put back the way you found it. Additional rental fees will be charged to your credit card on a pro-rata basis chargeable at $22.50 per half hour if you delay check out. Our housekeepers are on a schedule and are being paid by the hour whether they are waiting for you to leave or working. They will call us if you are still at the house when they show up. We can not be responsible for lost or left behind articles. If found, we will make every attempt to mail them to you at your expense. Any Minor Children left at the house after your departure will be sold to the highest bidder... |
